Weather update: Day temperatures have increased in North India including Delhi-NCR. However, due to snowfall in the hilly districts of North India, it remains cold in the morning and evening. According to the Meteorological Department, it is not expected to rain in the plains in the next one week.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a Western Disturbance is currently affecting the Himalayan region, due to which there may be light rain and snowfall in the Himalayan region, especially Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal, in the next two days.

Due to this, minimum temperature is likely to increase by 2-3 degree Celsius over most parts of northwest India during next 2 days and there will be no significant change thereafter. There is a possibility of a drop of 2-3 degree Celsius in the minimum temperature over East India during the next 24 hours. This condition will remain for two to four days. There is likely to be no significant change in the minimum temperature over the rest of the country for most of the days of the week.
No rain is expected in the next one week. Overall, the weather will remain pleasant and winds are expected to blow at a speed of about 20-30 kmph. The IMD said that people will also get relief from the cold as the temperature will rise in the coming days. There is a possibility of cold wave conditions in different parts of Madhya Pradesh and Odisha during the next 2 days.

Once again two weather systems have been activated in the country. Where the Western Disturbance will affect the Himalayan region, a depression from the Bay of Bengal is moving towards Sri Lanka. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in 24 hours in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the south.
